    What it is
    Each forum, section, topic, account or group has its own ID, an identification number assigned at the time of its creation.
    Curiosity: the user, whose ID has the value 1, is the first registered user, the following registered user has ID 2 and so on.

    How to find it
    ID account
    You can view the account profile, by clicking on the nickname. The ID is the number that, in the browser address bar, follows &MID=.

    Forum ID
    An administrator can find out the ID in the Administration page. The ID is the number that, in the browser address bar, follows &cid=.

    Group ID
    You can view the group, by clicking on its name (at the bottom of the page, above statistics). The ID is the number that, in the browser address bar, follows Members&g=. He can also find the group ID in Administration/ Manage groups to the right of the name of the group.

    Section or topic ID
    To know a section or topic ID, once entered, still looking at the browser address bar, the number that follows ?f= (in the case of a section) or ?t= (for the topics) is the ID.
    You can find out the ID of a deleted section by the administrative tool View logs by clicking the mouse right button on the link 'Delete section', so you can copy the link.

    Category ID

    Why they are useful
    The ID serve in all those cases where you are unable to enter a nickname: in ban tools, Manage groups and Edit nickname you can enter the ID instead of the nickname if the nickname contains special characters. The result will be the same.
    You can also use the ID to identify the forums in the change of registration forum or in the section transfer.
