What is a log
The log contains informations about performed actions in a given time by the admins or the moderators of the forum. How to view the logs Through the homonym feature, available only accessibile to the founder and to the admins, every time an admin or a moderator performs a certain action, it is registered in the log. To view logs, you have to enter the forum administration and click on View logs; Once you do this, you can see this screen: select from the drop down list the type of log you want to see, then click on the button View logs. You can laso view the action logs of a single user: enter the nickname or the ID of the user and click on View logs. The logs are separated according to the section, besides it is present the category administration, which allows us to monitor the actions performed in the administration of the forum. After selecting the log, you will see a table. The column named "action" displays the action performed by a particular user: CITAZIONE Admin: list of the admins change Ban: ban Mod: list of the moderators change Logo change: logo change Site skin change: skin change Moving post: moving post or topic ("Moved" + N° TOPICS/POSTS) Del. section: deletion of a section Del. topic: deletion of a topic Mod. nick: change of the nickname of a user ("Mod. nick" + USER ID + NEW NICK) Mod. domain change the domain ("Mod. domańin + NEW DOMAIN") Validation: validate the email address of a user ("Validation" + USER ID + NICKNAME) Editing blog: blog settings change in Manage Blog Editing Groups: editing one or more groups Edit HTML: editing HTML codes in the forum To the left of the column "action" is the date (gg/mm) and time (hh:mm) of the modification. The column named "section" (for the logs of the administration) or "topic" (for the logs of the section) gives us the ID of the sections or topics (if any) on which that certain action has been made. The column "IP" allows us to see if the user IP is the usual (visible in the users' listor in a post in the forum) or if we have to suspect a "theft" of the administrator account. The column User, finally, notifies us who made that particular action. Near deleted topics or sections the link (undo) allows to recover topics and sections. FAQ
